Konqistador follow up their 2017 spektər release with its ancestral EP düalətē. The two track single honors both founding members of Bauhaus, Peter Murphy and David J and their role in igniting gothic subculture.

düalətē probes contrasting sides of dark and light. The dark and disturbed 'Bela Lugosi's Dead' featuring David J's reading of Lord Byron stays true to the original, horror-esque and vampiric version recorded in 1979 while Peter Murphy's 'Cuts You Up' lights down in lush and transcendent sounds as it is said, this track was written in part describing Murphy's introduction to Islam.

Everything 3TEETH touches turns into swiss franks, it's especially evident for me since their debut can seem like a drafty dichotamy of minimalistic lyrics & repetative choruses. Most bands couldn't get away with this trick, but here it's really pays off.
